This
handbook of successful strategies, authored by Dr. Noma
LeMoine,
Director of AEMP, is the instructor background and professional
development instrument of the Academic English Mastery Program.
It provides the complete story of English for Your Success and its
pedagogical basis.
The Handbook provides an inclusive discussion of
African American Language and provides teachers with a valuable
review on how children acquire language. It also includes a sample
lesson for each K-8 grade level, which incorporates research-based
