English For Your Success Teacher Handbook

This handbook of successful strategies, authored by Dr. Noma LeMoine, Director of AEMP, is the instructor background and professional development instrument of the Academic English Mastery Program. It provides the complete story of English for Your Success and its pedagogical basis.

The Handbook provides an inclusive discussion of African American Language and provides teachers with a valuable review on how children acquire language. It also includes a sample lesson for each K-8 grade level, which incorporates research-based instructional strategies. Included also are recommended books, journals, research articles, relevant literature, software, & videos.

This Handbook of Successful Strategies is the instructor background and professional development instrument of the program. Four Teacher Curriculum Guides with ready-to-use classroom lessons for grades Pre-K-1, 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8 are also available.
